Horticultural Perlite water retaining inert growing medium Just as horticultural perlite has served the professional grower for many years, it can help the home gardener solve a multitude of common problems. In addition to promoting drainage and aeration in heavy clay soils, horticultural perlite provides optimum moisture retention for successful plant growth. When horticultural perlite is added to heavy clay soils, water ponding and surface crusting may be eliminated. In addition, plant roots may more easily penetrate the perlite/soil growing media and develop more fully. How to use water-genius

Add 1 to 3 ml per litre to water or nutrient solution every one to four weeks through the

growing season as needed. The more microbial life there is in your substrate, the faster

Water-Genius will be broken down - so, for more water retentive substrates / low

microbial levels, use the lower rate. For sparse, poorly retentive substrate, extreme

conditions and or high microbial levels, use the higher rate.

● Hand watering: water over the full surface of your pots / containers etc.

● Irrigation systems: add to your reservoir at rates above, or apply by hand watering.

● Lawns and large areas: apply using a hand or power sprayer just before or after rain.

Secret Jardin Lodge hobbiest The Secret Jardin Lodge is a cultivation and propagation tent that has 3 different compartments, one large to house mature plants and two smaller side compartments to house low power lighting and propagators. The Lodge 120 could also be used to flower smaller plants whilst growing on the next successive crop, creating a much quicker turnover of crops. Like all other Secret Jardin tents, the Lodge is constructed out of thick, quality materials making them strong, sturdy and near impenetrable to the brightest of light. The Lodge 120 is only 150cm tall making it ideal for tighter spaces.

Dark Street hobbiest The Secret Jardin Dark Street 2.50 is specially lined with a new reflective hammered effect Mylar fabric (190D). All water trays are now in Mylar. Increase of the tubes thickness from 0.5 to 0.6mm. Pre-equipped for extraction and ventilation, the tents come with equipment bars and accessories to support lamps, and carbon filters.

Ecothrive Coco Lite uses RHP certified, buffered coco that has been pre-blended with Ecothrive Charge at 1% by volume. This mixing ratio makes it ideal for almost all applications.

Increased Drainage and Air Space

Perlite increases the amount of air within the mix and reduces the water holding capacity. This creates a lighter mix with better drainage and improved resistance to compaction. Plants grown in Ecothrive Coco Lite will be far less prone to the effects of over-watering than pure coco coir.

Simply pour out the bag into a pot, break any compressed lumps, settle the mix by tapping edges and base of pot, and plant up.

CANNA Terra Professional Plus is the purest potting mix possible for plant cultivation. It also gives the best effects with CANNA TERRA nutrients.
