Use Module Accessory Packs to upgrade your system to AQUAvalve5 with 9mm and 16-9mm pipe and fittings. An AQUAvalve5 Module Accessory Pack will fit into in your existing module trays perfectly. It includes all the fittings you need to connect to 16mm pipe – even 16-9mm cross and tee connectors.
If connecting directly to the reservoir using 9mm pipe you may also require the new 9mm Top Hat Grommet and 9mm Golf Filter or, if your reservoir has a 16mm outlet, the new 16-9mm click-fit adapter and filter.
Alternatively you can maintain older systems in tip-top condition with 6m and 16-6mm pipe and fittings using a 6mm AQUAvalve Module Accessory Pack.

9mm or 6mm in-line taps are a very useful accessory. They can be inserted in-line just after the connection to the 30 or 47 L plastic reservoirs. This allows you to turn off the water supply if you need to undertake any maintenance. They can also be added to the end of a layout so that now and again you can open the tap and allow the lines to be flushed, removing a sediment or lime scale build-up that might occur over time. This will only take a couple of minutes and only needs to be done every couple of weeks.

The 9mm or 6mm Golf Filter is for use with 30 L & 47 L plastic reservoirs. It is inserted into the pipe end inside the reservoir once the pipe is pushed through the Top Hat Grommet. It can be easily serviced and will float to the top if it comes detached from the tube, this will not happen if you make sure you have pushed the filter firmly into the tube.
End Stops are used to cap the ends of pipework runs. In some instances you may find that you have an end spare, if so simply cap the end by using one of these end stops! Alternatively you can use an in-line tap as this will allow you to flush the lines.

A 9mm or 6mm cross connector supplied individually and used to connect four pieces of pipe together. These are useful along with the 9mm or 6mm tee connectors as they provide the user with the ability to create a layout to suit his or her needs.
The AQUAvalve is supplied with all the AutoPot Watering Systems. Once connected to the water supply the AQUAvalve will control the flow of water to the plants, by simple gravity pressure from a tank or water butt, no pumps, mains water pressure, electricity or timers are required. Once connected to a tank the AQUAvalve will open and allow water to fill the tray to a preset level of 20mm. The AQUAvalve will not refill the tray until all the water has been used allowing the plant to go through a wet & dry cycle. Once all the water has been used by the plants the AQUAvalve will re-open and refill the tray. The AQUAvalve is a simple but very effective watering device and needs to be treated with care. Keep the AQUAvalve and the tray it sits in clean, free of obstructions, soil particles and it will help you water & feed your plants for many years. The AQUAvalve is guaranteed for 12 months.
The 1Pot XL System is extremely versatile and can be used for a wide range of plant types and sizes. Seasonal flowering plants and perennial shrubs thrive and produce an abundance of blooms and foliage because of the unique action of the AQUAvalve, which is designed to allow the plant to go through a wet & dry cycle.

The porous BPA-free, lead-free SmartPot material allows improved gas exchange in the substrate. Free to breathe the root zone can see dramatically enhanced oxygen levels – supercharging growth.
When root tips reach the porous side of a SmartPot they are ‘air-pruned’ – detered from extending any further by the air outside. Secondary roots then develop, creating a fibrous root structure with vastly improved moisture and nutrient uptake. Root circling is also thus eliminated making it possible to produce bigger plants from smaller pots.
Extremely durable and reusable the SmartPots are easily cleaned betwen uses if desired. Once emptied the SmartPots are best left to dry. After a few days any dust and small roots are easily brushed off. Whilst this level of cleaning is completely sufficient the SmartPot may be machine or tub washed in peroxide in order to sterilize. Do not put SmartPots in a tumble dryer.
