The 6mm Top Hat Grommet provides a water tight connection using 6mm pipe with the 30 ltr & 47 ltr tanks. The 6mm Top Hat Grommet is positioned at the bottom of the tank, by firstly drilling a 10mm hole. The grommet is then inserted into the hole and a length of 6mm pipe is then pushed through the grommet. Push the tube through the grommet so that you can see the tube protruding inside the tank.

6mm in-line taps are a very useful accessory. They can be inserted in-line just after the connection to the 30 or 47 ltr tanks. Allowing you to turn off the water supply if you need to undertake any maintenance. They can also be added to the end of a layout so that now and again you can open the tap and allow the lines to be flushed, removing a sediment or lime scale build-up that might occur over time. This will only take a couple of minutes and only needs to be done every couple of weeks.

If you have purchased or are using your own large tank and do not have access to insert a 19mm water barrel tap you can use a 19mm Top Hat Grommet. A 23mm hole is drilled at the bottom of the tank and the 19mm Top Hat Grommet is inserted into the hole. 19mm pipe (hosepipe) is then pushed into the grommet. This will form a water tight connection.

The 16mm-6 mm inline filter allows easy connection to 16mm pipe. The filter then reduces to 6mm allowing easy connection to any AutoPot Watering Systems of between 1 and 6 modules. The fitting also has an internal filter that can be accessed with ease ensuring cleaning is made simple
